Lawson Flats is a new-wave members club in the heart of the Perth CBD.

Spread across three floors of a historic 100 year old art deco apartment building and continues the legacy of the Karakatta Club who used to call these levels home. Lawson Flats boasts co-working spaces, a gym and sauna, karaoke and music rooms, plus an all-day cafe and restaurant.

The mob pictured above are a group of many talents who we collaborated with on this project - this was another fun project with FINI Group - and included the visionary design lead from Jen Lowe from OHLO Studio and built by Aurora Project Group.

Its a unique building and a unique space - and once again proves that adaptive re-use is vital in keeping historical fabric alive for future generations to enjoy. Im really proud of the new wave of Perth developers like Alessio Fini that have the vision to see the great value in older building stock and their retention and reuse. They are tough projects to navigate but always worth it in the end.
