Nice little section on Urbanlist Perth website with a whole bunch of unique characters making Perth what it is today in the hospitality scene. Perth people should be very proud that developers, business owners and operators are finding great value and higher return on investment with good design and creative ideas - its what makes a city better, some would say sexier.

Theres a tonne of effort that goes into creating some of these venues. They are the collective effort of the clients risk, the design team vision and the builders skilled labour to make them a success.

We're always excited to be involved in these projects, at their core are simple ideas of neighbourhood, community and city-making - dont get me wrong, they must be economical to build, enjoyable to be in and above all profitable - but we think its our duty to give something back to Perth and do our part to help this city become amazing.

Its our hope that when your east coast or overseas visitors turn up to surf your couch, you can be proud to show them a culturally rich place, and be proud that its more than just the wild west where all we do is dig stuff out of the ground. Sure its got plenty to work on and a way to go, but at least that Lonely Planet 'Dullsville' label in 2000 has been shaken off.

Go on - invite your east coast mates over and drag them around to some of these fine establishments..... i'll even take them on a Small Bar tour (they're paying of course!)
